nice, how all the hard consonants of the middle line are wrapped up in the snow of the first & last!
Thank you. I often try to build sound values into my haiku, following the advice of other writers such as Joan Giroux, Pamela Miller Ness, and others. I understand, through reading criticism in English, that sound also has often played a role in Japanese haiku, btw.
