		<description>Beautiful poem!  I love the vivid imagery, especially "Whole towns caught like a breath," and "perhaps a table set for tea spun slowly to the ceiling..."  The immediacy of the moment is almost magical, especially since we are looking back in time.</description>

		<description>I recall these kinds of whiteout conditions when I lived in North Dakota, especially, but in Alaska and Michigan as well.  The snow is like a scrim of frozen water flung out into the air by a trickster force.  Excellent photo.</description>

		<description>For me, these types of creeks in northern landscapes do not necessarily instill brooding, but introspection and a type of serenity not always available in other climes.  I love this photo on a hot July day and think of Clearwater Lake in Delta Junction, Alaska, and other places in Michigan over the years I still lived in my native state.  Thanks.</description>
