    The construction of a site that generates more construction… it’s like a fractal.

    Kind of a mushy fractal, at that. Home Depot took the last open site in the old farmland whose methodical carving up I had been photographing since the late sixties. Just out the the frame on the left is a small mountain that’s had a huge bite quarried out of it – the rock for the building concrete. So this and other pictures taken about at the same time are a bit of an endpoint for me [I think!].
