Oh, that’s marvellous, Marja-Leena!
Sorry to hijack Marja-Leena’s comments space. I am trying to submit something. Can’t find Dave’s email anywhere on his blog and have emailed Beth but not sure if she’s got it. Last time I tried to submit, my email never reached Rachel and I’m a bit bemused…but still keen…
I recognized this as a Marja-Leena right away! Wonderful.
Sorry, Polly. My email is on the “About” page of my blog: bontasaurus (at) yahoo (dot) com. But I guess we sort of figured folks could use the address given here in the sidebar, qarrtsiluni (at) gmail (dot) com.
Yes it’s definitely recognisable as a Marja-Leena. Transparency allied to solidity, modernity with pre-history, harmonious conjunctions of opposites. Beautiful.
An ultrasound of Adam and Eve in the mind of God.
I’ve always been a big fan, Marja-Leena.
Thanks for the lovely comments, everyone! Natalie and St.A have given me a new perspective!
beautiful colours. i also thought first of an ancient ultrasound scan. i couldn’t make out if the fragment in the top right has text. it looks a bit like Hebrew or Aramaic in my browser but is too blurred to make out when I zoom in. It’s like Nayalie’s image higher up this page in that it draws me back to look at it, to try to fix in myself what it may be saying to me.
